Happy Sabbath!
I didn't get a chance to update my usual playlist for the start of Sabbath on Friday evening (or Sabbath day as well) for the past two weeks. I've been doing well in managing everything--all my various projects--but I got a bit off track. I have to refocus and pray for the Lord to guide me by the Holy Spirit.
No song for tonight, but I wanted to share this poem since it's Christmas Eve. One of the ladies at our church would read it every year come Christmas time--she read it last Sabbath and I thought it would be nice to share.
The message is quite clear.
Now, a lot of people believe that Jesus was born on Christmas. There is no mention of it in the Bible. Similar to it being "three wise men" that visited Him. Nowhere in the Bible does it say how many if you were to read Matthew 2 [KJV]. So, I'm not sure where that account came from--not even sure how Christmas was appointed as the day Jesus was born.
However, getting back on topic, we are nearing the return of Jesus just as He promised. He stated that He will come back and He will. We don't know the hour, day, or year but He for sure gave us signs--no way can it be ignored with everything happening in the world today...many are concerned it's due to climate change. Well, if that's the case, then Jesus clearly foretold it since we're living in it right now. People can debate that topic, some agreeing while others disagree, but Jesus clearly told, in Matthew 24, the signs of His coming. Personally, I believe Him and what He said.
The little knowledge I've learned while reading His Word and certain things that have happened in my life is 1000% enough for me in knowing I can trust and have faith in Him. He keeps His promises.
I hope you lot enjoy the poem and I pray that it speaks to your heart.
Have a wonderful & happy Sabbath. And Merry Christmas.
Stay safe & God Bless.
Kindest Regards,
Mischa
