Back in the Query Trenches!

Hello!
I can't believe it's been four years since I've made a blog post!! Now, I can't promise that I'll be on here frequently with updates BUT! I did wanted to make a quick post to say I'm back in the query trenches with Namaste India! and I'm excited.
As many of you may know, the original story centered around an American girl with a perfect life. However, I've made some changes to the character, and she is half-British, half-Guyanese-Indian. In addition, a few changes were made here and there to some of the chapters.
I created the cover with Canva (as I did with the previous cover I had) for this story, and I adore it. I've seen a lot of people complain about using AI on Twitter, but respectfully, if I ever decide to self-publish, I don't have to pay someone to create a cover for me. Canva--though I'm not an expert with it--is a great tool.
It's great to be back in the query trenches, and I've gotten a total of eight rejections. However, I saw a genius post on Twitter about looking at rejections as "Not my agent." I've since then changed my Excel spreadsheet from "rejected" to "Not my agent."
I'm leaving it to God in removing the agents He knows aren't the best fit for me until He says, "That's the one, that's the agent I want you to go with."
I am letting Him direct my path, so I know I have nothing to worry about.
Also, I'm excited to be working on my first PB book, Mr. Jams & the Black Kitten, which I'll query soon. I would query right now, but I'm unsure whether I can query multiple projects. I'll be making a post about that story soon!
Stay tuned for more updates!
Stay safe & God Bless.
Kindest Regards,
Mischa
