Welcome to my website!
It feels weird having my own website for the following reasons: 1) don’t quite have any published books in the literary world 2) not signed with a literary agent and 3) unknown in the literary world.
Over several months, I’ve been querying my book, the majority of agents would have a section for the author to add the link to their website. As an author, having a website is a plus—even if you haven’t published anything. I always thought that once you’ve gotten yourself a literary agent and your book is a few months away from publication, then you work on your website. However, I’ve learned having just a basic website that a literary agent or reader can go to is important. Essentially, it gives a glimpse to agents or readers who you are, your interest, writing style, etc.
My website is still a work-in-progress as there are a few additional things I would like to add. One tip I’ve learned, after watching YouTube videos by literary agents, is the importance of making sure your website is updated and active. Since this is just a short introduction, my goal is to have at least two blog posts, perhaps, every week, if possible.
