Namaste India! Final Query

Updated: Jul 3, 2021

Is there an award for failing to maintain a blog post? If so, I do believe I can claim that reward since my goal of wanting to update with two blog posts every week was a complete fail. LOL. Halfway into the year--we're just six months away from Christmas!

With that being said, I do have to give God the glory and praise for bringing and sustaining me through the last couple of months. I couldn't have done it without Him. And I greatly appreciate His patience cause well it's me. LOL. No one will ever get or understand me as He does. He is the only person I can truly and fully rely on. I'm currently facing a situation with my job, but He's reminding me: "Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God He shall fight for you," -- Deuteronomy 3:22 [KJV]. Monday is D-Day for them to give me an answer, but I'm standing my ground with my request that was submitted. Keep me in your prayers, please!

Last month I participated in the first APIpit on Twitter. I decided to pitch Namaste India! one last time before shelving it and focusing on my new YA story. I got a couple of "hearts" from literary agents that I'll query the story to. Maybe I'll get a full MS request, maybe not. I DID get a full MS request for it last year, but the literary agent decided to pass on the story.

However, I thought I'd give Namaste India! one last shot during APIpit. I do believe my next YA story--Wicked Game--is going to be the story that will land me both my literary agent and a book deal. I'm super excited about that story, but finding time to sit down and focus on writing is difficult. My goal is to have Wicked Game completed before the year ends. Keeping it in prayer!

Stay safe & God Bless.

Kindest Regards,

Mischa
