Heartbeat is coming soon to Wattpad!
I've been working on several projects back and forth. This story is one of them. Heartbeat is an old NA (New Adult) story but sort of newish since I'm giving it a fresh new start. I literally have so many unfinished stories saved on my computer! I will say, though, it's always fun to go back and read some of them because the creative juices slowly start to spark.
I mentioned in a previous blog post about publishing on Wattpad a book based on God's Original Diet Plan (that's actually the title) and an e-blog type book that follows my journey with learning Korean and doing digital ministry. However, I also wanted to publish a new story as well since Namaste India! has been fully posted on Wattpad. I started browsing through and checking the various book covers on Wattpad of stories that garner readers (since my primary goal is to build a readership base.) Romance with a whole lot of danger seems to be the key. LOL.
Of course, there are other stories that people enjoy such as fantasy--lemme just say that I have a barely-started-just have the first chapter-but-have future chapter scenes written-full trilogy King Arthur story on my computer. However, that story would require a lot of work just because Merlin is a wizard and I don't do that witchcraft silliness. Not anymore at least. So, I decided on Heartbeat since I'm at least five chapters into that story--plus, I've got future chapter scenes written from years back when I started this story.
I'm not the best at describing or explaining my stories (I know! LOL) but think Quantico + Blacklist + The K2 + Man to Man + Dilwale + Don 1 & 2 + = Heartbeat.
I wanted to add a few more TV shows and movies in there but clearly, my brain does not want to work. However, hopefully, those mentioned, as well as the storyboard, give an idea regarding Heartbeat. The middle photo is actually the cover for the book. *Cue Riversong: "Spoilers."* LOL.
I'm excited about it! PLUS, there is going to be a reference from Wicked Game/Space Girl with a certain scene. Now, I don't know exactly when I'll be publishing this story. I want to have at least a couple more chapters written before I publish it on Wattpad. I'm thinking *maybe* January 1st, 2022 as a possible publication date. However, not sure but I will, of course, do a blog post regarding all the details when I have them.
I have been busy working on Wicked Game/Space Girl. While I was hoping to have that story completed so I could participate in PitMad on Twitter this Thursday, I'll, unfortunately, have to wait till the next one comes around. Please do keep me in prayer with all these various projects as well as my digital ministry!
